We are happy to run, hike or walk with up to two dogs from the same family at the same time – all for the price of one! However, we will charge an additional $5 fee for a third dog.
In order for the pups to get the greatest benefits from the run/walk, we want no more than three dogs at one time.
Yes! Our professional pet sitters provide overnights stay services for a full 12 hour session. [8pm – 8am] We send updated time stampes reports with photos of your pets. While on the job we ensure a safe and clean environment for your pets.
During our initial”Meet and Greet” we love to discuss your pets daily/night routine. We brainstorm on a to-do check list that includes various timely tasks. First, we start our days very early. Nothing is better than early morning runs and walks.
Second, because our time is limited, we tend to group more dogs together and have our adventures at parks that have both shade and water.
Third, Zen has a number of cooling vests for our dogs that we will use anytime we think the vest will help keep the pups cooler.
Finally, we always bring a lot of cool water and make sure every dog gets fresh water at least every 15 minutes.
Even though we never take our eyes off your dog, sometimes injuries occur. Everyone working for Zen has completed training in first aid and carries a first aid kit. However, if the injury is serious, we immediately text or call the owner and will follow the owner’s directions. However, if the owner does not respond we will transport the dog to either West Vet or to the Vet listed on your dog’s information form.
We will send you an email indicating the exact time we reach your home, and after we finish the walk/hike or run, we will check out and send an email with pictures from the adventure and a GPS map showing exactly where we went, how much time we took and the distance covered!
Unless we are asked to keep the dog close to home, most dogs hop a ride in the Zen Van to one of the many trails in the Boise foothills. We also visit dog parks, walk, and run on the greenbelt and sometimes even go downtown to see all the interesting people! We like to mix up the adventures!
We hate this but sometimes poop happens! We keep the keys unmarked so, that if lost, no one can trace the key to the client’s home. But if the client wants new locks, Zen will pay the cost.
Pack walks provide dogs with the opportunity to socialize and interact with several other dogs. Surprisingly, Chris has found that the dogs, while in a pack, stay calm and listen to directions. The dogs seem to enjoy calmly co-existing with one another. The groups are often made up of new dogs and this seems to just add to the fun adventure.
Pack walks are not for everyone, but most dogs really enjoy the experience!
Our preferred way to communicate is through the Easy Busy Pets App. Zen has invested in this cloud-based software to allow owners to provide information about their pet, schedule services and pay through a secure system. We can help you if you need some assistance in learning to use Easy Busy Pets.
If you want to reach us through email, please contact us at zenetcares@gmail.com. Email is checked at least once a day but if you don’t hear from us, please text (208) 794-0217. Because we are almost always outside with the pups, we usually cannot take calls.
Oh yes! Unless you prefer your dog not to go out – we are always ready for an adventure!
